Glatfelter partners with M&A specialists BTD to support integration of $185m acquisition of Georgia-Pacific’s European nonwovens business

17/10/2018 LONDON: Beyond the Deal (BTD) a global M&A and integration advisory and services firm today announced it has once again partnered with Glatfelter (NYSE: GLT), a global supplier of specialty papers and engineered materials, to ensure the successful post-merger integration of Georgia-Pacific’s European nonwovens business which was acquired on October 1st 2018 for US $185 million.

BTD and Glatfelter have enjoyed a long-standing partnership, working together on multiple acquisitions since 2006. Glatfelter partnered with BTD to help plan and prepare for the post-deal integration of Georgia-Pacific’s operations located in Steinfurt, Germany and sales offices located in France and Italy.

BTD has been retained to continue the detailed planning and execution support for integration beyond Day 1.
